What has now become a regular event attracted a good number of
participants despite the pouring rain. After a brief service in the URC chapel,
the procession was led down Chapel Hill and High Street by the cross carried
by Richard Stockham.
In Broad Street two verses were sung of There is a green hill far away and
when the procession continued to the north door of All Saints’ via the Triangle,
Andrew Whiting carried the cross. There was a joint service in the church at
12 noon.
