Between 11and 14 children have enjoyed 2 days learning that Easter isn't just about eggs. They listened to
stories about Palm Sunday, the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, followed by the good news of Easter day and
Jesus' Resurrection.
Pictures were drawn and glued, songs were sung, there was a treasure hunt and they all enjoyed watching a
DVD about a proud tree who learnt that being selfish eventually made you sad. Parents were given a
performance of one of the songs, and children read some of the prayers they’d written. Part of this features in the
video below. All in all a very enjoyable (and worthwhile) time was had by all.
