Lunch break in a gloriously sunny and activity-packed children’s fun day during Holy Week. 20 adults, led by Fiona Densham laid on the wherewithal for the children to decorate eggs, make nests for chocolate whots-its, colour in banners about the season and create large displays to be mounted in the church for Easter Day. The weather made it possible to be outside a fair bit of the time - whether for breaks during which the children could be re-fuelled, find clues in a hidden treasure hunt, or just generally work off steam. A very popular feature was a musical interlude at lunchtime presented by the Rector and Ruth Maddock. But first .....
