Members, braving the uncertain weather, took to the garden at 25, Orchard Close for their annual
summer garden party. They weren’t rained on ... and it was warm !

This year members enjoyed the hospitality of Jean and Alan Durston in Orchard Close. Unusually - for this summer - the sun
shone and it was a glorious day, made all the more special with the presentation by President Chris Parnham of a bottle of
fomething or other to Joyce Smith to mark her 90th birthday two days earlier.
