Dickensian Christmas Fayre 2009
This was thankfully held in far better weather conditions than 2008, when
it poured with rain for most of the evening. This year it was just chilly
enough to make the festive atmosphere truly feel seasonal.
In addition to the regular features such as the Weston Salvation Army
Band, the switching on of the Christmas tree lights on the village green,
the choir from Churchill Community School, and Joyful Spirit, some of the
nearby shops added to the occasion by staying open throughout the
evening.
