Not, unfortunately, the accustomed setting of the grounds of Yeomans for this year’s lunch in aid of the
funds of the Minibus Society, but a good turnout nevertheless. Indeed, this number of people would have
done serious damage to the lawns after all the recent rain, notwithstanding the reasonably bright and
sunny weather on the day.
It seemed quite the best spread yet, but however subjective that view may be, the tickets were great value
for the quality, quantity and variety of the two courses served by the catering team.
