An appreciative audience in Wrington Memorial Hall enjoyed a fine concert by the Frome Swing Band and the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir, a worthy anniversary celebration .A delighful painting of poppies had been donated by artist Julie Kingcott to be raffled to raise funds in memory of her husband Richard’s uncle Ken Collins, who had revived the branch after the 2nd World War, and served it for many years thereafter. The painting was presented to the lucky winner during the interval.
