RRemembrance Parade 3pm 4

With the second lockdown necessitated by the increasing numbers of victims of
Covid-19 due to start the following day, the Wrington Branch of the Royal British
Legion and the Revd David Gent, Rector of All Saints’ church agreed that an act of
Remembrance would be permissible at the war memorial in the churchyard.
Among those participating, the namesof those lost in the two World Wars were read
by Pat Lewis & Roger Vincent; the Exhortation by Jim Swords; the Kohima citation by
Chris Clark; Wreath layers included Brian Marshall (RBL), Shona Cross (Wrington
Scouts & Guides), Gabrielle Wilson (WI), Jill Rawlins (Wrington Parish Council) and
War Grave posy laid by Judith Gallop; a Reading by John Ledbury; the Bugler
Richard Whiting and Standard Bearer John Gallop. The Service was led by the Rector
