YMCA Summer Daycamps begin Summer Holiday Daycamps have begun at YMCA Dulverton Group, with over 150 children booked in for the first week alone. YMCA Daycamps are offered at locations in Bridgwater, Tarnock and Wrington and can cater for children aged 4-14, with many local children taking part. Within the first week, activities have included a slip and slide, mud buggies and rock climbing, as well as a trip to Weston Museum. Children have been able to enjoy activities in the summer weather, making the most of our different locations where they can run in the fields, explore the woods or go boating on the canal. Kevin Lilwall Director of Early Years and Communities at YMCA Dulverton Group said: “Seeing children of all ages enjoying the outdoors, challenging themselves and making new friends is great. The teams organising daycamps are dedicated to providing the best possible experiences for the children, even when faced with challenging weather, such as the record-breaking heat.” Summer daycamps will continue throughout the school holidays, with availability at all three locations on many days.
