At long last, the new Children’s Play Area has been installed. To mark the occasion, we have a date for a FAMILY FUN DAY on Saturday 18th September 2021 from 1pm-7pm. at the Redhill Village Hall and Recreational Ground ALL WELCOME! The bar will be open until late if you did still want to enjoy yourselves Here's just some of the stalls/activities: Raffle Tombola Games for all ages Cake stall Local/homemade items Hook a duck Cocktail shack Face painting Animal Corner Pony rides BBQ Entertainment with the Chicken Teddies duo And much more!!! Free Admission. There will also be a fundraising area for “Winnie Wilkins” where people can kindly donate for a specialised wheelchair for a local girl. Please come along and make it a day to remember with lots of laughter. Our grateful thanks goes to Thatcher’s Cider who generously gave to the cause. Trustee of the Thatcher’s Foundation, Mike Williamson, said: "It's with pleasure that we have given £5,000 towards this worthy project. With new facilities for the children at Redhill Club, we're sure the new play area will be well-used and really appreciated by local people”. Thanks also to Bristol Airport for their generous donation, as well as the Village Parish Council and all those that helped enthusiastically with all the numerous fundraising events held during the 2 years before the nation was struck with the Covid-19 pandemic.
