Butcombe Brewery’s annual Open Day this year provided the regular opportunities of tasting the output and taking a tour
around the brewery to see the manufacturing process, and special attractions of a visit from BBC TV’s Countryfile star,
Adam Henson, who signed copies of his books for eager purchasers, and the Mendip Morris Men in and out between
everything else.
Adam spoke to the website just before he began his signing marathon, and, with Butcombe’s MD Guy Newell hard at it
behind the bar, it was important not to stop the flow of refreshment for too long !
