With Broad Street closed to traffic for the two performances at 1.30pm and 4.30pm, the stage was set for the 7th quinquennial re-enactment of the history of the village of Wrington. This was originally written and produced by Echo Irving, and updated by her every 5 years. This year, the task of production passed to the capable and professionally experienced hands of Alan Milne, involving a large cast which, as always, included some of the oldest and youngest drawn from right across the community.
