Like many people all over the UK, since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, 8pm on a Thursday evening has
become the time to come out of our houses and clap a huge thank-you to all NHS staff and other workers vital for
keeping us going.
On Thursday, 16th May, 2020, this recording began in the centre of the village 40 seconds before the church
clock struck, and the church tower bells were tolled. The first 35 secs is very soft.
